The Optoma H117ST is a short-throw projector designed for home entertainment. It can project onto a 2.5-metre diagonal screen from just 1 metre away and boasts bright-enough imaging that you won't need to darken the room to see what's on the screen. The added benefit of a short-throw projector is that you're rarely standing between the screen and the projector, so shadows won't be an issue.

The H117ST delivers life-packed colours and fully supports 3D video. Add that to the WXGA resolution and built-in speaker and you've got everything you need to enjoy your Friday night films. In terms of connections, you're set up with HDMI, VGA and composite video inputs, plus a mini-jack port for hooking up an external speaker and a USB-A power port.
